Figma keyboard shortcuts

This searchable reference lists the Figma shortcuts that product and UI designers use all day, with the correct keys for both macOS and Windows. It covers the tool keys, selection, edit and arrange commands, text formatting, view and zoom, and the prototyping and Dev Mode actions.

How it works

Figma maps drawing tools to single letters — F for Frame, R for Rectangle, T for Text — and uses Command (macOS) or Ctrl (Windows) with Shift and Option/Alt for editing commands. Zoom uses Shift plus a number, and deep selection into nested groups uses Command/Ctrl-click plus Enter to step in and out. Pick your operating system, search for an action, and each row shows the exact keys for that platform.

Notes

A handful of combinations only apply with a layer or text selected, and a few may collide with browser shortcuts when you run Figma in a tab. The whole reference and its search run in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded.
