Can I combine a flip and a rotation?

Yes. The transforms stack: you can, for example, rotate 90 degrees and also mirror horizontally. The canvas applies the current rotation and both flip states together on every render.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

What is the difference between rotating and flipping?

Rotating turns the whole image around its centre, so a 90-degree rotation swaps width and height. Flipping mirrors it across an axis, producing a reversed image at the same dimensions.

Does flipping or rotating reduce image quality?

No. Horizontal and vertical flips and 90-degree rotations are lossless pixel rearrangements — no resampling or interpolation is involved — so the output is exactly as sharp as the original. It is exported as a lossless PNG.

Lossless by design

Flips and quarter-turn rotations only rearrange existing pixels — there is no resampling, so nothing is blurred or degraded:

Rotate right : (x, y) -> pixels turned 90° clockwise, width/height swapped
Flip H       : left and right columns swapped
Flip V       : top and bottom rows swapped
