Influencer Discovery Brief Builder

Define ideal influencer criteria for a campaign or brand partnership

Create an influencer discovery brief with niche, platform, follower range, minimum engagement rate, content style, prohibited content, and exclusivity terms. Auto-tiers the creator and copies as Markdown.

What are influencer tiers?

Tiers group creators by audience size: nano (1k to 10k), micro (10k to 100k), mid or macro (100k to 1M), and mega (1M+). Smaller tiers usually have higher engagement and lower cost; larger tiers offer reach. This tool labels the tier from your minimum follower count.

Finding the right creator starts with knowing exactly who you are looking for. This builder turns your campaign requirements into a precise discovery brief — and labels the creator tier automatically — so your outreach team screens the right people fast.

How it works

The tool captures the criteria that define a good-fit creator and assembles them into headed Markdown. You set the niche, platform, and geography, then a follower range and a minimum engagement rate. From the lower bound of the follower range the tool derives the tier — nano, micro, mid/macro, or mega — using standard industry breakpoints (under 10k, under 100k, under 1M, and above).

You then describe the desired content style, list prohibited content that disqualifies a creator, and set exclusivity terms. The output is a shareable brief plus a built-in vetting checklist, so the team can evaluate audience fit, engagement authenticity, and brand safety consistently.

Tips and example

Set the engagement-rate floor relative to tier: nano and micro creators often clear 3 to 6 percent, while mega accounts may sit near 1 percent, so a single threshold across all tiers will over-filter the large ones.

Make exclusivity explicit — “30-day category exclusivity during the campaign window” is enforceable; “please don’t work with competitors” is not. For prohibited content, screen the creator’s last 30 days of posts, since recent competitor promotions are the most common and most damaging conflict.
