Knowing exactly how much XP stands between you and your next League of Legends summoner level — and how many games that means — makes grinding for level rewards and capsules far more predictable. This calculator uses the published XP table and your usual game mode to lay it out.
How it works
The tool sums the per-level XP costs from the official table, then converts the remainder into games:
xp to next = costOfLevel(current) − xp already earned
xp to target = Σ costOfLevel(L) for L from current to target − xp earned
games = ceil(xp remaining / avg XP per game)
XP needed per level rises through level 20, then settles to a flat 2,520 XP per level afterward, so the climb past 20 is steady rather than ever-steepening.
Example and tips
At level 30 needing to reach 31, you owe 2,520 XP; at roughly 130 XP per normal game that is about 20 games, fewer if you fold in the first-win-of-the-day bonus. Because post-20 levels all cost the same, you can multiply the games for one level by the number of levels you want to plan a longer grind.
