Weekly Meal Plan Builder

Generate a 7-day meal plan based on dietary preferences and calorie target

Pick a diet such as vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, or keto and a daily calorie target, and get a 7-day plan with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks plus per-day calorie totals. Shuffle for variety and copy the full plan.

How accurate are the calorie numbers?

Each meal carries a typical calorie estimate for a standard portion. Real values vary with ingredients and serving size, so treat the totals as a guide and adjust portions to hit your exact target.

A full week of meals in one click

Planning seven days of food is tedious; this builder does it instantly. Choose a diet and a daily calorie target, and it assembles a balanced week of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and optional snacks, with calories totalled for every day. Shuffle as many times as you like until a week looks appealing, then copy it straight into your notes or grocery list.

How it works

The planner holds a curated library of real meals, each tagged with a calorie estimate, a meal slot (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack), and the diets it suits. When you pick a diet, the tool filters the library down to matching meals only. It then fills each day by drawing one option per slot from the relevant pool using a seeded random generator, so the same shuffle always reproduces the same week.

For every day it sums the chosen meals’ calories and compares the total to your target. Days landing within roughly 250 calories of your goal are flagged as on-target. The weekly average shows whether the plan as a whole is tracking near your intended intake.

Tips and example

Set the diet to keto with a target of 1800 and a daily snack, then shuffle a few times. You will see low-carb dishes like steak salad and zucchini noodles with pesto, with most days landing close to the target. If totals run high, switch off the snack or pick a shuffle whose days sit under your goal. Because portion sizes are not fixed in reality, treat the numbers as a starting framework and scale servings up or down to match your needs.
