The fae are creatures of mist, blossom, and riddle, and their names should sound the part. This generator builds lyrical fairy names from soft syllables and nature words, with an optional poetic epithet to mark a character’s court or domain.
How it works
Curated mode draws from a hand-picked pool of flowing, Gaelic-influenced names. Syllable mode assembles names from soft fae-style fragments such as ael, wyn, thel, and mira, joining two or three into a single melodic word. Either way, enabling the epithet appends a nature-themed title built from a descriptor and a natural noun, giving results like Aelwyn of the Silver Briar.
Tips and example
- A noble of a bright court suits curated mode: Sylvaine of the Morning Dew.
- A trickster sprite reads well syllable-built: Thelmira.
- Regenerate freely and pair a name you like with a different epithet to fix the character’s allegiance or theme.
