Example

A 20-mile round trip, 22 days a month, at 26 mpg and $2.95/gal: monthly miles = 440, fuel = (440/26)*2.95 ≈ $49.92. Add $55 parking for $104.92 cash. The IRS full cost is 440 * 0.67 + 55 ≈ $349.80, far above the $25 transit pass.
