RAL Classic is the standard color system for paints, powder coatings, and architectural finishes across Europe. This converter gives you approximate sRGB and hex values so you can preview a RAL color on screen before specifying it.
How it works
Each RAL Classic color has a four-digit code. The first digit groups the hue family: 1000s are yellows, 2000s oranges, 3000s reds, 4000s violets, 5000s blues, 6000s greens, 7000s greys, 8000s browns, and 9000s whites, blacks, and metallics. The tool holds a local table of these codes mapped to approximate screen colors and filters it as you type by number or name.
Notes and limits
These values are approximations. RAL is a physical coatings standard, so the screen rendering will differ from a painted sample, and gloss level and substrate further shift the appearance. For any color-critical job, specify the RAL number to your supplier and confirm against a physical fan deck. Use the hex and RGB output for digital mockups, renders, and CSS only.
