An album title sets the mood before a single note plays. This free generator builds title concepts shaped by the conventions of six genres, so the vocabulary and cadence fit the sound. It is a fast brainstorming tool: generate batches, then refine the one that captures your record.
How it works
Each genre maps to a word bank split into adjectives, nouns, and abstract concepts. When you generate, the tool randomly selects one of four naming shapes and fills it from that bank:
- a single noun, such as
Static - an
adjective nounphrase, such asNeon Mornings - a
noun & nounconcept pair, such asGhosts & Wires - a
Songs of {idea}concept-album form
Choices are random and de-duplicated within each batch, so every click gives you a fresh set of six.
Tips and notes
- Pick the genre your listeners will associate with the artwork and sound — that alignment is what makes a title feel intentional.
- The output is raw material. Swapping one generated word for something tied to your lyrics often produces the strongest result.
- Before release, confirm the title is not already linked to a well-known album, and check trademark status if it will become a brand.
