Specialty coffee names sell a feeling as much as a flavor. Roasters pair evocative words with roast and flavor cues so a bag promises an experience. This generator builds artisan-style blend names tuned to light, medium, and dark roasts.
How it works
For each result the tool selects one of three naming patterns and draws roast words from the pool matching your selection:
1. Atmosphere + roast word e.g. Morning Bloom (light)
2. Origin + flavor + "Blend" e.g. Andes Chocolate Blend
3. The {Atmosphere} Roast — flavor & flavor
The roast filter swaps the descriptor pool: light roasts pull bright and floral words, medium roasts pull caramel and balance, and dark roasts pull deep, smoky imagery. Each batch returns eight de-duplicated names, and the tool avoids producing identical paired flavors like “Cocoa & Cocoa”.
Tips and notes
Origin words such as Sumatra or Yirgacheffe are evocative styling here, not sourcing claims. If you put a name on a real product, only state an origin you can verify, because origin and single-origin claims are regulated in many markets.
Pair the generated name with your actual cupping notes so the promise matches the cup. A name like “Midnight Oil” should taste bold and roasty; “Morning Bloom” should taste bright and delicate.
