A fragrance name has to evoke a feeling in one or two words. This free generator builds names from olfactory vocabulary, emotional concepts, and the luxury phrasing perfume houses favor, organized by scent family so the name fits the notes. Use it to spark a shortlist quickly.
How it works
Each scent family maps to a word bank of single evocative words, fragrance notes, adjectives, and abstract concepts. On each generation the tool selects one of four naming shapes and fills it:
- a single word, such as
Cèdre - an
adjective notephrase, such asVelvet Rose - an
Eau de {concept}form, such asEau de Désir - a luxury
{concept} de {note}form, such asMystère de Cedar
Suggestions are random and de-duplicated within each batch.
Tips and notes
- Match the family to your actual top, heart, and base notes so the name promises what the bottle delivers.
- Single-word names age well and travel across languages; longer luxury phrases signal a premium positioning.
- Fragrance names are frequently trademarked, so always run a search before committing to packaging or a launch.
