Diablo 4 Gold / Currency Farm Rate

Find the most efficient Diablo 4 currency-farming routes

Enter the gold or currency earned per run and the time each run takes for several Diablo 4 farming methods, and the tool ranks them by gold per hour and projects your total for a time budget.

How is gold per hour calculated?

Gold per hour is gold per run divided by run minutes, multiplied by sixty. A run yielding 500,000 gold in ten minutes earns 500,000 / 10 × 60 = three million gold per hour, the rate the tool uses to rank methods.

Not all Diablo 4 farming routes are equal: a method with a big per-run payout can lose to a faster one once you account for time. This calculator converts each method’s reward and run length into gold per hour, ranks them, and projects your total over the time you actually have to play.

How it works

Each method’s efficiency is its per-run reward normalised to an hour, and the projection scales that rate by your time budget:

gold per hour = gold per run / run minutes × 60
projected = gold per hour × budget hours

Ranking by gold per hour rather than gold per run is the key step — it is the only fair comparison when run lengths differ.

Example and tips

A boss that drops 800,000 gold but takes fifteen minutes earns 3.2 million per hour, while a five-minute Helltide loop yielding 300,000 earns 3.6 million per hour and wins despite the smaller per-run number. Time every method honestly, including resets, and re-measure after gear upgrades — your most efficient route changes as your character gets stronger.
