Path of Exile Gold / Currency Farm Rate

Find the most efficient Path of Exile currency-farming routes.

Enter run times and per-run yields for your Path of Exile farming methods to estimate currency earned per hour, ranked by efficiency, scaled by your gear, and totaled for your available session time.

How is currency per hour calculated?

Runs per hour equals 3600 seconds divided by your run time, and currency per hour equals that times the currency per run times your gear multiplier. A 180 second run yields 20 runs per hour, so a 40 currency run earns 800 per hour at average gear.

Not all Path of Exile farming pays the same, and the method that feels lucrative often loses to a faster route once you do the math. This calculator turns your run times and yields into currency per hour, ranks every method, and projects your session total so you grind where it actually pays.

How it works

For each method the rate is driven by how many runs fit in an hour and what each run yields, scaled by your gear:

runsPerHour     = 3600 / runSeconds
currencyPerHour = runsPerHour * currencyPerRun * gearMultiplier
sessionTotal    = currencyPerHour * hoursAvailable

Ranking by currency per hour folds speed and yield into one comparable number, so a fast modest route can rightly beat a slow rich one.

The gear multiplier

Clear speed and item find scale with gear. Setting the multiplier above or below 1.0 adjusts every method together, keeping the comparison honest while reflecting whether you are over- or undergeared for the content.

Example

A 180 second map yielding 40 currency gives 20 * 40 = 800 per hour at average gear, while a 240 second boss run yielding 90 gives 15 * 90 = 1350 per hour — so despite the slower runs, the boss route wins, and the tool surfaces that ranking instantly.
