RuneScape 3 Gold / Currency Farm Rate

Find the most efficient RuneScape 3 currency-farming routes

Enter several RuneScape 3 money-making methods with their gross gp per hour and any hourly resource cost to calculate net profit per hour, rank methods by efficiency, and project your total gold over the time you have available.

How is net gp per hour calculated?

Net rate is gross gp per hour minus the supply cost per hour. A method earning 8 million gross with 1 million in supplies nets 7 million per hour. Comparing on net rate, not gross, is what actually matters for your bank balance.

Picking the wrong money-making method quietly costs you millions of gp per session, especially when supply costs eat into a high gross rate. This calculator compares your methods on net profit per hour, ranks them honestly, and projects your total gold for the time you actually have.

How it works

Each method’s true value is what it nets after supplies, and total gold scales with the hours you put in:

netRate   = grossPerHour − supplyCostPerHour
totalGold = netRate × hoursAvailable

Methods are sorted by netRate descending, so the entry at the top is your most profitable option after costs, not the one with the biggest gross headline.

Example and tips

A boss earning 9M gross but spending 2M on supplies nets 7M per hour, while a skilling method at 5M gross with no supplies nets 5M. The boss wins on rate, but over a relaxed 3-hour session where you cannot focus fully, the AFK skilling method may realise more of its rate. Re-run the comparison whenever supply prices shift, since a rise in rune or food costs can flip the ranking.
