Plan the fastest currency route
Farming in-game currency efficiently means picking the method with the best yield per hour for your current gear — not just the one that feels fast. This calculator takes a list of common farming methods, each with a realistic base hourly rate, and adjusts them for your gear power and the length of the session you actually have time for.
How it works
Each method stores a baseRate measured in currency per hour at neutral gear (multiplier 1.0). The adjusted rate is:
adjustedPerHour = baseRate × gearMultiplier
sessionTotal = adjustedPerHour × (minutes ÷ 60)
The tool computes this for every method, sorts descending by adjustedPerHour, and ranks them. Because the gear multiplier applies to every method equally, the ranking tells you which route is genuinely best for your build — gear can change the totals but the relative efficiency order stays meaningful.
Tips and example
If you have 90 minutes and a gear multiplier of 1.25, a method with a 12,000/hr base rate yields 12000 × 1.25 = 15,000/hr, and over 90 minutes that is 15000 × 1.5 = 22,500 currency. Compare that against a 9,000/hr method on the same gear and you can see the route choice is worth thousands of currency per session. Always re-check after a gear upgrade — a faster-clearing method can leapfrog a slower one once your multiplier rises.
